Historically, medicinal mushrooms have been in continuous use by traditional healers throughout the world for thousands of years. Each continent has its own variety of medicinal mushrooms, many of which are very similar in their medicinal properties. The Fomitopsis Pinicola is one of the North American medicinal mushrooms that has made a monumental impact in my life.
I was first introduced to this healing herb by a man teaching traditional Native American healing arts. He was dedicated to the education and preservation of the sacred healing herbs and practices of the North American Indians. I had very serious health problems at the time and was excited about the prospect of healing traditions that dated back centuries.
I became a student of the Native American Indian healing traditions and learned many of the healing herbs and sweat cleansing ceremonies, but the herb that was of most benefit to me was the Fomitopsis Pinicola, the medicinal mushroom I was introduced to. I recognized that the healing benefits that I received from this medicinal mushroom were needed by many other people in the world around me.
I was taught that this herb had been in use for centuries and had been considered a sacred herb by many North American Indians. It was commonly used in many traditions and was traded by some tribes on the west coast, where it grows, with the tribes in the plains.
I received such dramatic health benefits from the medicinal mushroom that I felt it was necessary to share this information with as many people as I can.
